G. Henle Publishers is celebrating Schönberg’s 150th birthday with a wealth of new editions and a dedicated website.
The new editions of Schönberg’s music released by G. Henle Publishers range from the late Romantic Transfigured Night and the free-atonal piano pieces op. 11 and 19 to the twelve-tone Suite for piano op. 25 or the Phantasy for violin and piano op. 47, the composer’s last chamber music work, which was edited by Eike Feß. A facsimile of Schönberg’s Concerto for piano op. 42 was published in 2023, edited by Katharina Bleier and Therese Muxeneder and accompanied by extensive introductory texts. In addition, a linen edition of the complete piano works was published in 2024 as a worthy gift of honour for the composer’s 150th birthday.
