A study by Therese Muxeneder on the composer’s Jung-Wien environment has been published as a Japanese translation by Mikako Akutsu.
Generally regarded as a collective central body of Viennese Modernism, the avant-garde movement Jung-Wien was defined in literary studies with the keywords nerves, soul, self, and dream. The network of Jung-Wien music, literature, architecture, and art is explored in this work from the perspective of the composer Arnold Schönberg.
This Japanese translation of the book that was originally published in 2018 by the Arnold Schönberg Center in German and English has been prepared in celebration of the Schönberg150 anniversary year for Artes Publishing in Tokyo.
