On “Heritage Day,” 2026 held under the motto “Monuments: Value for everyone,” hundreds of historic sites across Austria open once again their doors and invite visitors to rediscover the country’s cultural heritage free of charge: www.tagdesdenkmals.at.
For the first time, the Arnold Schönberg Center, together with its branch location, the Schönberg House in Mödling, is also participating in Heritage Day. Music and culture enthusiasts have a special opportunity to explore the life and work of Arnold Schönberg, one of the most important modernist composers, with director Ulrike Anton. We look forward to welcoming many interested visitors!
