Arnold Schönberg’s “Three Pieces for Chamber Ensemble” are subtle miniatures that condense the utmost expressiveness into a single breath. Although these pieces were composed more than 100 years ago, their distinctive sound remains as relevant as ever. On this concert, organised in collaboration with Wien Modern, the work is performed alongside premieres by three composers who were awarded the 2025 Arnold Schönberg Composition Scholarship from the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport.
