The concert is a collaboration between the IGNM and the Ensemble Wiener Collage and focuses on anniversaries – we are celebrating the 150th birthday of Maurice Ravel and the 125th birthday of Ernst Krenek. We are also commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of Luigi Dallapiccola, an ardent admirer of Arnold Schönberg. All four composers were important pioneers of 20th-century music and honorary members of the IGNM. Also celebrating anniversaries are Gerald Resch (50th) and Tanja Glinsner (30th), who, together with Margareta Ferek-Petrić extend this diverse concert program to the 21st century.
