The Italian composer Clara Iannotta has been awarded numerous prizes for her work (including the Ernst von Siemens Composer Prize, the Hindemith Prize, and a scholarship at the Villa Medici). Her music is commissioned and performed by renowned ensembles, soloists, and numerous international orchestras. Clement Power succeeded Jean-Bernard Matter as Professor of New Music and Director of the Webern Ensemble Neue Musik in October 2024. We are delighted that this concert represents the continuation of a fruitful collaboration with the mdw spanning several years.
