For this concert, David Helbock has arranged the frequently performed Sechs kleine Klavierstücke, op. 19 for jazz trio. Schönberg’s miniatures are first presented in their original form and are then followed by longer, jazz-flavored versions in which the ensemble freely improvises on Schönberg’s music.
