Thomas Ebenstein, a member of the ensemble of Vienna State Opera since 2012, is giving his debut at the Arnold Schönberg Center alongside the young singer Lisa-Marie Lebitschnig. Performing together in this evening concert, they present songs written by Schönberg and his friend Alexander Zemlinsky in Vienna around 1900. Works by Schönberg’s Berlin student Norbert von Hannenheim are still almost unknown. His music ranges from late Romanticism to his teacher’s twelve-tone method.

The concert will be streamed live on facebook and YouTube and will be available for seven days afterwards.
