Eleven years after the composition of his chamber concerto dedicated to Arnold Schönberg for his 50th birthday, Alban Berg arranged the "Adagio" of his great work for violin, clarinet and piano. Thomas Wally adds a double bass to this instrumentation in the new version of his "transfigurations" already composed in 2008. Finally, Maxim Brilinsky arranged Alban Berg's Violin Concerto for this ensemble, dedicated to the memory of Alma Mahler's daughter Manon Gropius, who died at the age of eighteen. An arrangement on the occasion of the 150th birthday of Alexander Zemlinsky completes the program.
