Schönbergs »Herzgewächse« sind eine Herausforderung – nicht nur für die Hörer, sondern auch für die Interpreten: Die extrem anspruchsvolle Gesangspartie reicht bis zum dreigestrichenen f! Eine andere musikalische Welt zeigt sich in Michael Jarrells »Eco III«: Hier hallt der Text, von semantischen Schichten überlagert, lediglich als verschwommenes Echo nach. Darüber hinaus dürfen wir gespannt sein auf Uraufführungen von Rojin Sharafi und Wolfgang Liebhart.
Schönberg’s “Herzgewächse” (Foliage of the Heart) is a real challenge – not just for listeners, but for its performers as well: the vocal part is extremely demanding and peaks at a high F! Michael Jarrell’s “Eco III” creates a different musical environment: the text merely resonates as a blurred echo, superimposed by semantic layers. Premieres by Rojin Sharafi and Wolfgang Liebhart complete this fascinating program.
