The renowned ensemble Het Collectief has been an integral part of the Belgian music scene for almost thirty years. More recently, the ensemble’s five musicians have increasingly turned their attention to the Second Viennese School, with the roots of the avant-garde serving as a starting point for their exploration of 20th and 21st century music. Het Collectief will be making its debut at the Arnold Schönberg Center by presenting a multifaceted program that brings modernist classics into dialogue with contemporary composers.

The concert will be streamed live on facebook and YouTube and will be available for seven days afterwards.

With the support of Flemish Ministry of Culture

Under the patronage of the Belgian Ambassador Caroline Vermeulen
and the General Delegate of Flanders Koenraad Van de Borne
