In this concert, two musicians showcase female composers – their experiences, their stories, and above all, their music: vibrant, diverse, creative, and courageous. Sophie Heinrich and Maria Radutu recount bygone eras, drawing on diaries and letters to delve into her protagonists’ emotional worlds. In “All About Eve” they explore the intimate relationship between the Boulanger sisters, the unwavering strength of the African American composer Florence Price, and the unique sonic creations of Schönberg’s student Natalia Prawossudowitsch. Join us in exploring a repertoire that germinated in obscurity for a long time, but whose blossoming has now become impossible to ignore.
