Students from the mdw Department of Piano present five short concepts with music by Arnold Schönberg and contemporary literature. The concepts have been expanded with various pieces. The contemporary literature presented includes pieces by Viennese composers and teachers from the mdw, with whom the students have closely worked together. With these short concepts the students are attempting to close the gap between new music and the standard repertoire and to show that both are way more similar than one might think.
