Under the expert guidance of Erwin Ortner (founder and director of the Arnold Schoenberg Chor) and Alois Glaßner (Professor of Choral Conducting), choral conducting students at the mdw have been working intensively on selected choral works by Arnold Schönberg, developing their conducting skills and rehearsing them with the choir. The results of this multi-day collaboration will be presented in this concert’s performances.

In the run-up to the concert, an introduction and workshops with Erwin Ortner will take place at the mdw between November 26 and December 6. These are open to interested guest students after registration.
