Program and cast change
Unfortunately, Laura Strobl (violin, viola) and Sara Kowal (harp) fell ill on the day of the concert. We wish them both a speedy recovery.
Thankfully, Georg Graewe has spontaneously agreed to play a program of five new works for solo piano instead of the originally announced program. We are pleased that the concert does not have to be cancelled and thank you for your understanding.

“Composing is a slowed-down improvisation” – Schönberg’s statement in his essay “Brahms the Progressive” describes the tension between planned design and intuitive structuring during the creative process. Composer and pianist Georg Graewe explores similarities and divergences between playing styles – following in the footsteps of both jazz avantgarde and Schönberg’s “musical thought.”
