How do we deal with contrasting currents – withdrawing into our private lives, separation, and issues of solidarity and social participation? The theme chosen for isa23, “WE AND ME,” makes reference to these developments and invites students to explore these fields of tension in their art. At the isaFestival concert in the Arnold Schönberg Center, this underlying topic is supplemented by juxtapositions of traditionalism versus avant-garde.
