In Arnold Schönberg’s circle, the examination of Gustav Mahler’s music and person played a central role. The lecture recital follows the symposium “Voices of History – History of Voices. Interpreting Mahler” (mdw Wissenschaftszentrum Gustav Mahler, November 29 – December 1, 2021) and will focus on arrangements of Mahler’s symphonic music for piano for four hands or for two pianos.
