The longing for love and soul friendship between people is the focus of this concert. Schönberg’s “Dreimal tausend Jahre,” Lukas Haselböck’s “Vier Psalmen” (after Nelly Sachs’ “Sternverdunkelung”) as well as new works by Julia Purgina and Šimon Voseček complement each other to an expressive variety, which is fanned out in the instrumentation of the eight-part vocal ensemble from intensive tutti sound to soloistic isolation.
