When four young musicians unexpectedly got together in autumn 2015, nobody could foresee what would develop from making music together. With their 2018 debut CD, a “wonderfully quirky” (Falter) arrangement of Mussorgsky’s popular piano work, the AUREUM Saxophone Quartet soon established itself on the Austrian music scene. At the Arnold Schönberg Center, the ensemble demonstrates all of its versatility. Four saxophones embark on a journey of discovery through musical continents!
