Washington State University at Pullmann was founded in 1890. The library owns the papers of Hans Rosbaud (1895-1962) a conductor and avid champion of Schoenberg's music. Hans Moldenhauer (1906-1987) of the Moldenhauer Music Archives at Spokane, Washington, provided the Rosbaud papers to the University.
