The library of Tel Aviv University (established 1953) owns the Ödön Partos Collection. Ödön Partos was a violist and composer. He was Director of the Israel Academy of Music in Jerusalem, and visited Schoenberg in 1951, telling him about the new state of Israel. Schoenberg told Partos of the former's desire to become a resident citizen of Israel.
