Die Vokalmusik der Gegenwart weist ein breites Spektrum unterschiedlicher stilistischer Ansätze auf – eine Vielfalt, der das vorliegende Programm gerecht werden möchte. Dabei kontrastieren heitere bzw. launigphilosophische Werke von Arnold Schönberg und Kurt Schwertsik mit ernsten und tiefgründigen Tönen bei Wolfgang Seierl. Hinzu kommt ein neues Klavierwerk von Daniel Riegler. In Kurzinterviews nehmen die Komponisten zu ihren Werken Stellung.

The vocal music of today displays a broad spectrum of differing stylistic approaches, to which this program attempts to do justice; cheerful and moody philosophical works by Arnold Schönberg and Kurt Schwertsik contrast with serious and profound sounds by Wolfgang Seierl; the program also features the premiere of a new piano work by Daniel Riegler, and the composers will be discussing their pieces in short interviews.
